Dr. Khalifa N. Al-Wahaibi
Dr. Khalifa N. Al-Wahaibi, MD, FRCSC (Gen Surg), FRCSC (Vasc Surg) is a Senior Consultant in General and Vascular Surgery and Head of the Vascular Surgery Unit at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) in Oman.
Former Director General of SQUH (2016–2022), Dr. Al-Wahaibi brings extensive leadership experience in clinical operations, quality accreditation, and medical education. He is a Trainer for the Oman Medical Specialty Board General Surgery Program and Course Director for ATLS Oman under the American Board of Surgery.
A prominent figure in regional surgical leadership, Dr. Al-Wahaibi was the Founder and first President of the Oman Surgical Society, past President of the Gulf Vascular Society, and currently serves on the Board of the Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group.
