Dr. Maram Taha AlKhatieb is an Associate Professor of General Surgery at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and a Consultant in General Surgery and Diabetic Foot at King Abdulaziz University Hospital.
She completed her General Surgery training through the Saudi Program at KAUH and pursued specialized training in diabetic foot care, including a Diabetic Foot Fellowship from Complutense University, Madrid, Spain, and a European Fellowship in Wound Healing.

Dr. AlKhatieb has held several leadership positions at King Abdulaziz University Hospital, including Director of Home Health Care, Director of Outpatient Clinics, and Deputy Medical Director. She has also led national and international accreditation teams and contributed to the hospital’s electronic information system transformation.
She has served as Head of the Diabetic Foot Unit in the General Surgery Department since 2021, and has held leadership roles within the Breast Cancer Center of Excellence. She is a member of the Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group (GDFWG) and has served as a Diabetic Foot Advisor with Saudi German Health Group.
